Dynamic Strides is an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in Southwest Missouri, serving kids from birth through 21 years. With unique treatment facilities and compassionate therapists, we use a proactive and personalized approach to meet individual needs. Our mission is to enrich the lives of kids and families through individualized care while empowering parents and fostering growth, development, and independence.

At Dynamic Strides we are able to offer these services to the patients we serve.

• Occupational therapy
  • Our pediatric occupational therapists help children meet developmental milestones, overcome sensory challenges, improve self-regulation skills, and increase participation in self-care, play, and school tasks.
• Physical therapy
  • The focus of physical therapy for pediatric patients like ours is development of gross motor skills and function, promoting active participation at home, at school, and in the community
• Speech therapy
  • Our pediatric speech-language pathologists are experts in communication who diagnose and treat communication and feeding/swallowing disorders in children.
• Specialty services
  • Hippotherapy
    • Hippotherapy is an evidence-based clinical intervention that utilizes equine movement to address goals across physical, occupational, and speech therapy—improving balance and coordination, enhancing sensory integration, and even boosting self-confidence.
  • Equine assisted therapy
    • Equine Assisted Therapy is a relationship based intervention that utilizes partnership and interaction with our equine team and their environment to support growth across multiple skill areas.
  • Aquatic therapy
    • Aquatic therapy can help improve mobility, strength, and coordination with the unique input and support from water.
  • Intensive programs
    • Intensive therapy is a change in how often or how long a child receives physical therapy or occupational therapy, for a set amount of time. This allows a child to focus on a specific skill or improve their performance in a few skills through repetition.
  • Reflex Integration
    • Reflex intervention is typically performed with specific movement patterns and certain positions that encourage motor coordination and control. These movements are specifically designed to target distinct reflex patterns that are still impacting a child’s functional skills.
  • Feeding therapy
    • The goal of feeding therapy is to improve a child’s independence at home, at school, and in any activities that involve food.
